Engineered Processes: Precise Metal Plating and Masking
Difficult Projects Are Our Specialty!
We, at Prime Plating, tend to have the tough metal plating jobs find us. It is from a combination of our knowledgeable staff, expertise in many areas of metal plating, our Quality Assurance, and our willingness to try just about anything. We’ve built custom tanks, racking methods, and created processes outside of standard specifications to get the job done. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs—just ask by filling out a Request for Proposal.
Precise and Technical Metal Plating:
We adhere to strict standards of quality; in addition to our large standard tanks, we have built a specialty Precision Metal Plating line to meet the toughest requirements of our most discerning customers. Our Precision Metal Plating line is a separate, enclosed line in our Quality Assurance area where we process aerospace and other tight tolerance work.

Plating on Unique Metals/Alloys:
In addition to the standard metal plating processes on common metals such as steel, aluminum, and copper, we also have experience working with much less common materials. Some of these specialty materials include: stainless steel (including kovar & inconel), beryllium, molybdenum, and molly-rhenium alloys.
Precision Masking:
Some parts require multiple metal plating processes, and this is where our precision masking techniques come into play. We use our Masking Clean Room to perform intricate masking for selective metal finishing. We use numerous paints, tapes, plugs, and fixtures to seal off areas on a part in order to perform multiple metal finishes and metal coatings. We can also engineer custom precision masking techniques to very tight tolerances to meet our customer’s needs.
